The president and CEO of Barrick Gold Corporation, Mark Bristow, delivered the keynote address on the second day of the Nevada Mining Association (NvMA) Convention at Lake Tahoe on Wednesday.

Bristow, from Estcourt in South Africa, became the president and CEO of Barrick Gold Corporation in January this year.

Business development managers Dale Burraston and Eric Spagnuolo are representing Watercare Innovations at the convention.

“There is a great sense of positivity for the mining sector in the state of Nevada,” said Spagnuolo.

“We have engaged with many mining and engineering companies and we have received positive feedback and interest in our solid-liquid separation technologies,” said Spagnuolo.

This is the 41st NvMA Convention and the 29th to be held at the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe.
