Summary
Mechanical Engineers design, research, build, test, and improve mechanical and electrical devices, equipment, and systems within Watercare Mining equipment range.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyzing problems and coming up with designs to solve them.
- Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.
- Working within the budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time.
- Manage budget of equipment and material ordered against proposed budget.
- Developing design prototypes.
- Working with CFD and other design programs
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attending meetings and providing input and updates.
- Analyzing data to write up reports.
- Communicating with staff, directors and clients
- Manage Quality and Quality data packs on all projects
- Assist with plant establishment and commissioning.
- Travel to different sites locally as well as international as required.
- Comply to the Watercare Mining SHEQ IMS (Integrated Management System)
